Lake Okeechobee Water Transfer

We recently completed a job for a construction company near Lake Okeechobee. It consists of 8 of our Hydraflo™ water pumps connected to a combined 6,400 feet of pipe with a 30 inch discharge diameter. The reason for this job is to bide time for the nearby pump station to go under emergency repairs as several of its culvert pipes are leaking and need to be replaced.

The repairs are projected to take 12-15 months. During negotiations, the construction company, Thalle Construction, decided to purchase our equipment rather than renting several thousand dollars worth of water pumps one month at a time. This decision not only saves the local community money, but will also ensure a permanent back up plan with our water pumps just in case another dire situation occurs.
